Specialty Anodes

We manufacture anodes to accommodate customers' connection requirements, including both established industry standards methods and special custom designs whenever warranted by demand. Typical features are:

  • Type A:

    Cast groove in hollow anode interior accepts customers' snap ring connector or caulked lead.

  • Type S:

    Cast cavity in anode end accepts caulked lead connections.

  • Type T:

    Cast conical seat in tubular anode accepts our conical lead anchor soldered to cable.

"Chill Cast" in Metal Molds

Assures consistent weight, greater density, less flake graphite grain boundary, and lower chemical segregation than Sand Cast Anodes. Our Chill Cast structure is similar to "Spin Cast" Tubular Anodes. (Shell Cast Anodes are available on application.)

Performance

Accelerated corrosion tests confirm that our Chill Cast Anodes perform significantly better (up to 19%) than sand cast anodes in chloride and sulfate environments. Test reports are available on request.

Chill Cast Anodes

  • Specializing in color anodizing, splash and multi-color anodizing, laser engraving and laser marking, titanium anodizing, mirror polishing, electropolishing, and passivation.
  • Plating and metal finishing shop specializing in clear, color, and hardcoat anodizing. Can include masking and selective anodizing of components and surfaces.
  • Anodizing, chemical brightening, chemical conversion film or passivation of aluminum or stainless details for automotive, aerospace, medical, foodservice and general use.

    • Graphite stirring anodes

  • Precision machining of graphite and carbon including anodes, boats, crucibles, continuous casting dies, electrodes, fixtures, heating elements, parts, susceptors and refractory products.
  • Manufactures graphite, synthetic graphite, carbon fiber and natural graphite products.
  • Supplier of graphite electrodes and graphite products for the steel, foundry and other applied industries.

    • Special Anode
